The Redmont School in the Waldorf Tradition is a community dedicated to educating responsible world citizens. Located in the Crestwood neighborhood of Birmingham, the school has been in existence since 1987 and has over 130 children currently enrolled. Our School is committed to providing a rich and balanced educational experience that engages the whole child.  Waldorf education is grounded in strong academics, enlivened by the arts, and made concrete by practical experience.  The Redmont School in the Waldorf Tradition is a member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America as well as the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America.

Duffy Waldorf , PGA Touring Golf Professional

A California native and wine connoisseur, Duffy is known on the golf circuit for his colorful Hawaiian print shirts and hats and tournament play golf balls artistically illustrated by his wife Vicky and their children: Tyler, Shea, Kelli, and Justin.  All four are Waldorf students attending the Highland Hall Waldorf School in Northridge, California.

The Association of Waldorf Schools of North America

(AWSNA), as part of a worldwide movement, strengthens and

nurtures the impulse of Waldorf Education in the world. To this

end, the Association works to develop quality and integrity in the

realms of early childhood education, elementary, and secondary

education as well as research and curriculum development,

development/administrative support, publications, teacher training loans and teacher mentoring, and school accreditation. The

Association represents more than 270 member schools in North

America as part of a movement with over 700 schools worldwide

Highland Hall embodies a community effort to enliven cultural life in Los Angeles through the education of children. It is part of the worldwide Waldorf School movement. The mission of Highland Hall is to lead children through a curriculum that balances thinking, artistic expression, and practical deeds so that they may become confident individuals capable of making free choices. Such a curriculum, based on the insights of Rudolf Steiner, meets the demands of the times today by bringing about a healthy relationship between human beings, the earth and the spirit.
