Affiliated School Resources : Guides & Documents

AWSNA Media Guide

Designed by AWSNA Publications, the Media Guide is intended to help schools utilize their communities' media sources-newspapers, radio and television-to spread the news about their work and about Waldorf education. It is also meant to assist schools in responding to any and all attention—positive or negative—from the press.

We hope you will read this Media Guide and use it to put policy into place for your school if you do not have policies in place already. To be prepared and welcoming are important aspects of level-headed responses to media coverage. Deciding in advance of media attention is the very best a school can do to promote and protect itself.

This Guide is yours to print and use as you see fit. Please direct any questions about the Media Guide to awsna@awsna.org.
