AWSNA Annual Report 2007-2008

Welcome to our Annual Report for the year, 2007-2008! We are delighted to offer to you a picture of our last year here in this report. Keep in mind that our work represents the community of Waldorf schools on the continent of North America. In addition to our deep gratitude to all the many generous supporters listed in this report, our gratitude is deeper still for our many schools and the tireless work of their communities for the children entrusted to their care.

A message from the President of the
Board of Trustees

Stepping into leadership of the Association as President of the Board, as a teacher, a Eurythmist, and a high school pioneer gives me a unique perspective on the work and the growing success of our Waldorf schools. Knowing the effort it takes to make the running of our Waldorf schools look as effortless as it does is a modern form of magic. It is, or course, impossible without self-discipline. Our Leadership of AWSNA is like this — founded on modern magic and completely dependent on collaboration to achieve the heights we are all designed to achieve.
—Stephan Vdoviak
