A message from the President of the Board of Trustees of AWSNA
What could be better than remembering in middle age how happy a time it was to learn as a child? This is what Waldorf Education is designed to give to each young human being entrusted to its care. In the high principles of achievement expressed about education in our culture, racing to the top, very little is said for this essential need.
At AWSNA we collaborate to keep all our Waldorf schools focused on their important task of giving the children we educate the chance to unfold at a pace that can be understood and remembered - truth, beauty, and goodness, resilience for life.
My gratitude is high for the chance to work with committed colleagues on the Board of AWSNA to bring these high ideals to the world at this time when new insights about education are so very needed!
