IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
The documents and digital files available here for download summarize almost two years work in trademark and messaging. The project was undertaken at the request of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America℠ (AWSNA)’s Board of Trustees and approved by the Leadership Council and the AWSNA Delegates. The goal was to review the trademark status and messaging for Waldorf Education in North America and recommend how to better protect the good name and create a more consistent and coherent message.
The document and digital files are meant as a tool that those in Waldorf Education can use in their communications with people inside and outside the Waldorf community. Over time the information in this document will be revised and grow to accommodate changes in the Waldorf community and the world around us. When this happens, the document will be updated and a newer version published. Otherwise, please use this information consistently in your daily communications until further notice.
Messaging Guideline in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format (version 4)
Logos, symbols and text in various digital formats including:
- eps - hi-resolution format (large file size) good for use in graphic design and printing
- GIF - hi-resolution format good for use in graphic design and web design
- jpeg - lo-resolution format (small file size) good for use in digital format such as emails, Microsoft Powerpoint presentations and Adobe Acrobat (pdf) documents
- TIFF - hi-resolution format (large file size) good for use in graphic design and printing
Different digital formats serve different purposes. Please be sure to choose the right digital format for the project undertaken, otherwise documents can become memory intensive and difficult to manipulate.
