How will the information that I elect to have visible on my profile be used?
We are committed to your privacy. Any and all information that you choose to share will be viewable by other Waldorf alum users for networking and events only. We (AWSNA) will never individually contact you for fundraising or development work, and all users of the platform, including school alum staff, agree to follow this promise. We will share any information that you choose to post on your profile with your alma mater so that they can develop and strengthen their individual alum databases.
Why should I sign up for the platform?
You should sign up and register on the site if you are interested in:
- finding other Waldorf alums to network with
- mentoring younger alums in your field
- seeking out work or internships with a Waldorf alum
- hiring other Waldorf alum to work with you on a project or within a company or organization
- attending regional Waldorf alum events and parties
- finding "long lost" friends and reconnecting
- meeting new Waldorf alums in your area and making new friends!
- following the Waldorf alum news and being inspired by what your fellow Waldorf alums are doing in the world!
Will I be contacted by AWSNA or my school to give money?
AWSNA will never contact you for donations or development. Individual schools with independent "affinity" pages may contact you ONLY if you attended their school.
Why is it titled Alum Network Connect and not Alumni Network Connect?
We seek to be inclusive of every gender identity, and have therefore chosen to use the "alum" instead of the masculine plural version of "alumni". It is not a typo! :)
Who can see my contact information?
Your email, address, date of birth and phone number are only viewable by you and the site administrator. Users can contact one another directly through the website, but not personally.
Why can't we link to Instagram?
